Willie is a dental hygienist who has had work related injuries. She was approached by Hygiene edge to make a video that notates her pre- and post- work day yoga routines so that other dental hygienists can avoid work related injuries through healthy practice. She is not an instructor and she is not perfect but finds these practices helpful to her maintaining her quality of work. This line of work overuses the hip flexor muscles because of the position the hygienist keeps to maintain control over her instruments. It is easy to stress and over use these muscles without even being aware.
