Sitting down for too long may be very bad for your brain circulation, according to recent research that will prove worrisome to many office workers. However, the silver lining is that getting up and walking around for as little as 2 minutes every half hour will prevent this problem. This is important, because short term decreases in brain circulation can cause brain fog while in the long term it can make us more prone to dementia and similar diseases. It may also have a bad effect on circulation in other parts of the body.
