Increasing momentum within an organization can boost morale, creativity, innovation and support the organization’s goals. However, there are things that can decrease or zap momentum that should be avoided. Not having goals or a plan in place can greatly slow momentum. Shortening a new employee’s introductory period is a waste of a fresh perspective. Losing focus and overlooking investment opportunities can also decrease productivity as well as forgetting the value of your employees and making sure they know they are valued.
