Many of the recommendations for the new year are somewhat timeless. First of all, take on frightening tasks in a courageous way. Look at those tasks as though it is an opportunity given to you because you are the leader and you are capable of handling the situation. Be honest about mistakes and explain why they were made. Don’t ask anyone to do something that you wouldn’t; be willing to work hard for those who do the same for you. If you find that you are missing a skill; take a class; get more information about it. Maintain your relationships by being positive and finally, find joy in what you do.
