Internal Family Systems (IFS) can help you understand and overcome the drives that motivate bad habits that you’d rather leave behind. It’s already shown great promise in the treatment of PTSD. IFS is inspired by the concept of the modular mind — that is, that there are many different “yous” inside your head that run the show collectively, rather than just one single you. All of these parts want what they think is best for you, but they often conflict with each other. IFS helps you work out these conflicts between different yous for better results.
