No matter what the setting or the location, assistants enhance the delivery of quality dental health care and are critical members of the dental team. March 5-10, 2007 has been designated by the American Dental Assistants Association as the perfect time to acknowledge and recognize this versatile, multitalented member of the dental team!
On behalf of the dental assistants of Duval County, Sherrie Busby, President of the Northeast Florida Dental Assistants Society, along with Dental Temps of Northeast Florida, accepted the Proclamation from Jacksonville Mayor Peyton designating the week of March 4 through 11, 2007 Dental Assistants Recognition Week in Jacksonville, whereby he encourage all citizens to recognize the important contributions these professionals make to the health and wellbeing of people throughout the city of Jacksonville.
Dental Temps of Northeast Florida, represented by Kim Knapp, participated in the Clay County Board of County Commissioners meeting February 27, 2007, receiving on behalf of the dental assistants of Clay County, a Proclamation designating the week of March 4 through 11, 2007 as Dental Assistants Recognition Week, bringing its importance to the attention of the citizens of Clay County.
Dental Temps of Northeast Florida
Partnering with the Dentists in our area to include; Duval, Clay, St Johns and Nassau counties, it is our honor to recognize and award the top winners from each county with a cash prize, flowers, and a commemorative certificate. Proclamations were presented to the dental offices in Clay and Duval County for display.

Clay County Winner: Pamela Slocumb
Pamela’s dental assistant career spans over 27 years.
She is employed by Dr Philip Parsons, Keystone Heights.
Duval County Winner: Chris Maurer
Chris’s dental assisting career spans over 23 years.
She is employed by Dr Scott Wagner, Jacksonville.
Nassau County Winner: Kathy Hannaford and Carrie Allen
Kathy’s dental assisting career spans 12 years and Carrie 15 years.
They are employed by Owens, Van Etta and Kitson, PA, Fernandina Beach.
St Johns County Winner: Margalie Jean-Pierre
Margalie’s dental assisting career spans over 10 years.
She is employed by McLellan Dental, St Augustine.

| Better Business Bureau Torch Award | For Marketplace Ethics
On October 25, 2006 The Better Business Bureau Foundation awarded Dental Temps Professional Services, Inc. with their 2006 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
Dental Temps Professional Services, Inc. has proudly been a member of the Better Business Bureau since May, 2005 and was presented this award during it's very first year of eligibility.
